They must also have suitable clothing to cope with possibly cool and wet conditions. Shelter is available at each transition and first aid is on hand for any runner who needs it.
Transitions will have shelter provided as well as aid stations with water and basic first aid requirements.
More substantial first aid is available throughout the event and is utilising the Medics on Scene organisation.
Parking and runner transport
Parking will be available for all participants on the Puketapu school grounds. Buses will transfer runners to and from starting and finishing points. We ask that no vehicles are taken to either of the transition points as parking space here is very limited.
All participants will receive a FREE hot meat roll and home baking upon their return to Puketapu school. There will also be food and drink available to purchase on site.
Spot prizes will be drawn before the event and given out as part of the registration process. Trophies will be awarded in each division to the winning individual/team.
